  • Second-generation member of Teamsters Local Union No. 31 since October 1999.
  • Worked in trucking since early 2000 with experience in freight, container hauling, cross-border, and intermodal operations.
  • Gulf Islands Cartage (2000-2011): Company driver and Shop Steward (2002-2011); handled a high volume of grievances and served on bargaining committees for 2002, 2004, 2009, and 2011 contracts.
  • Worked across multiple freight and container employers from 2011-2015.
  • Canada Cartage (since 2015): Elected Shop Steward; managed grievances and discipline; served on 2019 and 2020 bargaining committees.
  • Completed CLC Winter School programs in Collective Bargaining Basic, Union Communications, and the Federal Labour Code, and attended numerous Local 31 steward education courses.
  • Attended IBT conventions in 2006, 2011, and 2016 and assisted with the 2023 Gordon Food Service organizing drive.
