Biography
Paul Simms has been a Local 31 member since 1999. He served as Shop Steward at Canadian Springs Water Company from 2006 to 2016 and sat on the union bargaining committee for the company’s last three collective agreements.
He was elected to the Local 31 Executive Board in May 2014, appointed Business Representative in January 2016, and elected to the position for the 2018–2022 term. He is a graduate of the Canadian Labour Congress Winter School in Advanced Collective Bargaining (2013) and Facing Management (2015), and enjoys volunteering at the events Local 31 sponsors and attends.
